Classes are scheduled twice in a week with 2 hours per session either from 6: PM after working hours or during weekends.

Duration:  Six Months

Eligibility Criteria: Ability to read and write simple music.

An enhanced certificate is assured at the end of the course.

Learning Objectives:

1. Ability to understand the geography of the pianoforte keyboard and to be able to apply the fingering drills and technical exercises.

 2.  Ability to interpret simple and compound rhythms, identify all the major and minor keys signatures and how to find the key in a song when the music has started.

3.Introduction to the Primary Chords, Chord l, Chord lV and Chord V.

3.Ability understand music signs, expressions and rest.

The learner shall be able to play local Ghanaian Choruses, sight read Methodist, and Presbyterian Hymn Tunes and simple classical pieces
